Job Description
This hands-on position is responsible for assisting in all phases of aircraft painting while maintaining compliance with all safety, company, federal, state and local regulations.
Responsibilities of this position include:
• Applies sealer, and masks the aircraft using tapes and paper products (to protect windows, seals, struts,
cables, etc.) in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processes
• Cleaning and sanding in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processes
• Applies etch and anti-corrosion coating to aircraft and rinsing
• Applies paint to the aircraft interior and exterior surfaces
• Polishing and detailing exterior paint
• Fabricate stencils, mix paints, layout and apply stripes, layout and apply insignias
• Other duties as assigned.
Other requirements include:
• 5+ years experience in Aircraft Paint, Auto Paint, or Similar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
