Job Description

Position Purpose
Under close supervision, perform repairs and overhauls of internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components in accordance with Client's Repair Station requirements.

Essential Functions
• Develop and apply foundational skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment relevant
to the area of specialization
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on assemblies and subassemblies through part removals,
repairs, or replacements, including fabrication and installation of replacement parts, in accordance with
blueprints, maintenance manuals, vendor documents, verbal instructions, engineering dispositions, On-
The-Job Training (OJT), and other authorized maintenance data, ensuring conformance to Repair Station
requirements
• Set up and operate test equipment per documentation to conduct functional and operational tests on
mechanical and electrical aircraft components for return to service
• Inspect detail parts using blueprints, overhaul manuals, and other maintenance data to ensure they meet
conformity requirements
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork in compliance with FAA Repair Station requirements
• Keep the work area, including test equipment and peripherals, clean and orderly
• Follow all company and legislative environmental health and safety regulations

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic understanding of shop math
• Preferred experience in sheet metal (production and/or fabrication) and/or hydraulic overhaul
• Basic knowledge and experience with electrical theory and wiring

Additional Functions
• Remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structures, locate and reinstall
parts as needed
• Remove and install APUs (Auxiliary Power Units) and perform APU maintenance for all Client's models,
referencing Client's and Honeywell Maintenance Manuals
• Fabricate and repair sheet metal and mechanical parts, components, and equipment using rolling,
shrinking, stretching, braking, riveting, or other mechanical processes
• Fabricate and repair wiring and electrical assemblies and harnesses using accepted repair processes,
including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wires
• Demonstrate effective repair techniques, including troubleshooting, soldering, and applying protective
coatings
• Perform other duties as assigned
