Role Overview
This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composites, and components.
Key Responsibilities
• Support structural repair and modification projects
• Interpret and read aircraft blueprints/modification drawings
• Accept ownership of assigned structural projects
• Follow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Client.
• Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and
modification phases
• Record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation
• Maintain safe and clean work environment
• Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Client’s
Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
• High school graduate or equivalency degree required
• Ability to obtain designation as an Client's Production Inspector (Blue Stamp)
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145
• 5 years Aircraft maintenance experience with emphasis on Structural repair and Modifications
Licenses:
• Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred
• FAA Inspection Authorization preferred
